Loving God, worshipping Christ and the Holy Spirit through music and bringing that music to the congregation every week is a joyous mission to me.
I am a mother of 3, and a grandmother of 5. I have been married, to my husband, Rich, for 41 years. I have been a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since 1982. During those years I have served as organist, substitute organist, member of the choir, Choir Director, Chime Choir Director, Student Instrumental Group Director, Director of the Boards of Worship and Music, Property and Evangelism. Working in the construction industry also helped me when I served as the liaison between the building committee and the construction company during the building of our church addition. I also served for many terms as Council President and Executive Director of Church Council. My love of music has me presently as a member of the Praise Team. My second love of crafting keeps me busy as a knitter on our Prayer Shawl Ministry, and a maker of hand-made greeting cards which the sales of supports the campership program for our Women’s Retreat ministry. There are other little jobs that I also help with around the church, as it is the family that I have grown to love!
Jan and I have three sons, been married 61 years and currently have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. We have been members of HTLC since 1978 and I was on church council for several years with 3 of them as President.

A past member of the Brunswick Board of Education for 13 years and President for three. I am currently a member of Brunswick Kiwanis, for 36 years and was President for three.
Jan and I have been involved with the Miss Ohio/Miss America system for 50 years by running a local program called Miss North Coast and in 1982 had our contestant named Miss Ohio.
Don Moll passed away on December 7, 2024. We miss him terribly and will forever miss his voice singing In our praise band. We know that he is singing up in heaven. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
