Butterflies will be sent to our shut ins. This is a multi-generational project that allows children in our congregation to create the butterflies with their families.
Woven with Promise has been working hard since June 2022 to provide free clothing to those in need in an environment of Christ-centered love & grace. We appreciate each and every one of our donors and we wouldn’t be where we are without your support. Since our opening we have been humbled and privileged to serve hundreds of women and children in need as they escape domestic violence; help a foster family change the life of a child; serve those struggling with homelessness and serve those families escaping the tragedy in Ukraine.
On June 3rd, 2012, the Brunswick community was devastated when 4 teens were killed and one seriously injured in a car accident on Boston Road. Three days later a community meeting was held to brainstorm what could be done to help the community and those affected both now and in the event another tragedy occurs. From that meeting, a charitable organization called the Brunswick Blue Pride Foundation was created with an ongoing mission of family support, advocacy, and scholarships for Brunswick High School students.
The foundation is a mix of parents, business owners, and students and will sponsor several fundraisers a year as well as advocacy programs for students.
Our Prayer Garden is a quiet place to sit and pray in nature and is available to anyone in our community.
Once a month, we volunteer at the Brunswick Food Pantry. We also collect food and monetary donations.
We host a community meal every other month at HTLC. Over 50 people regularly attend these meals. Please note: Due to the pandemic, we offer drive though service for our Community Meals.
Each August, we host a Back to School Rally where families can come and receive backpacks stuffed with school supplies for free.
